Our Programs
Every act of kindness starts with a simple idea: notice someone, care for them, and help them feel remembered. Through our programs, children, families, volunteers, and community partners work together to bring comfort, connection, and joy to people who need it most.
Care Packages
Our care packages are thoughtfully assembled bags filled with small gifts, activities, handwritten notes, and comfort items. Each package is designed to brighten someone’s day and remind them that they are seen and cared for.
These packages may be delivered to patients, residents in care communities, families going through difficult seasons, or individuals who could use extra encouragement.
How people can help:
Donate care package supplies
Write encouraging notes
Help assemble bags
Sponsor packages for a group or facility
Deliver packages with a volunteer team
Intergenerational Visits
Our intergenerational visits bring children and volunteers into care communities for crafts, games, conversation, and shared moments of connection. These visits create meaningful relationships across generations and help reduce loneliness through simple, joyful interaction.
Children learn compassion by spending time with older adults, while residents enjoy the energy, creativity, and warmth that young visitors bring.
Activities may include:
Crafts and art projects
Board games or simple group games
Reading together
Holiday activities
Conversation and storytelling
Youth-Led Kindness Projects
Youth-led kindness projects give young helpers the chance to lead with compassion. Through fundraising, service days, donation drives, and hands-on giving, children and teens learn that they can make a real difference in their community.
These projects help young people build confidence, empathy, leadership skills, and a lifelong habit of serving others.
Project examples:
Collecting supplies for care packages
Hosting a lemonade stand or fundraiser
Organizing a kindness drive
Creating cards or artwork
Leading a service day with friends, classmates, or teammates
Community Partnerships
Our community partnerships make each project more meaningful and personal. We work with local organizations, care facilities, hospitals, businesses, schools, and families to understand real needs and create thoughtful ways to help.
These partnerships allow us to reach more people, coordinate deliveries, gather supplies, and build kindness projects that reflect the needs of our local community.
Partners can help by:
Hosting a supply drive
Sponsoring a program
Connecting us with people or facilities in need
Volunteering as a group
Providing space, supplies, or services
